New AWWA C900 Standard

In 2007, AWWA C900 PVC Pressure Standards were changed to reflect data retrieved from over 30 years experience with PVC pipe products in municipal applications, current research on PVC performance, as well as to harmonize various PVC pressure pipe standards. This article explains the new pressure classes of DR14-305 psi, DR18-235 psi and DR25-165 psi PVC pipe products.  Pipe wall thicknesses and outside dimensions stayed the same with this change.

TECHNICAL REPORT ON PVC FORCE MAIN DESIGN

This Uni-Bell technical report, "UNI-TR-6, PVC Force Main Design," details the Association's recommended design procedures for selecting the appropriate class of PVC pressure pipe for force main applications.
