This Uni-Bell Technical Report, "UNI-TR-3-03, Maintenance of PVC Sewer Pipe," provides details on PVC's ease of maintenance.  The report summarizes information gathered from system managers and maintenance personnel.  Supporting data in the report was obtained from field evaluations and laboratory research. Although the information for this report was gathered from sanitary sewer systems, much of the information applies to storm drainage systems as well.
